About Dr. Tashawna K. Duncan
Dr. Duncan is a Licensed Psychologist, Licensed School Psychologist, and Nationally Certified School Psychologist with more than 20 years experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in clinical, educational and community settings. She is credentialed by the Council for the National Register for Health Service Providers in Psychology. Additionally, Dr. Duncan is a Certified Family Mediator and is qualified by the Twelfth Judicial Circuit, State of Florida, to serve as a parenting coordinator, parenting plan facilitator, and social investigator. She also serves as a collaborative law mental health neutral and expert witness.
Dr. Duncan received her Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Florida after receiving dual Masters degrees in elementary education and school psychology. In addition, she has received advanced training in many specific clinical and treatment issues. Dr. Duncan has published numerous articles in professional journals and has delivered professional presentations at the local, state, national, and international level. She has provided expert testimony on psychology, neuropsychology, special education, child development, custody, brain injury, and related subjects.
